AES I/O with Word Clock and Sync

The Yamaha MY8-AEB plug-in interface card gives you expanded I/O functionality for your compatible Yamaha digital audio products. The MY8-AEB delivers eight channels of AES/EBU-format digital audio I/O with reference video input and advanced video synchronization capability. In addition to eight BNC connectors (4 stereo inputs and 4 stereo outputs) the MY8-AEB sports a Ref Video input that can receive a PAL or NTSC format reference video (Black Burst) signal that will provide the synchronization word clock for the device into which you've installed the card.

eXi-Clock, for rock-solid word clock and sync

For maximum system reliability the MY8-AEB features Yamaha's eXi-Clock function, capable of seamlessly continuing word clock generation even if the Reference video signal becomes interrupted. The MY8-AEB makes it convenient to use Yamaha's high-performance digital mixers for video post production, and maintain the highest audio quality with reliable synchronization to a wide range of video sources.
