Q-Sys system elements
- The primary elements of a Q-Sys system are the Core, the Designer software, the Q-LAN network, and the peripherals.
- Q-Sys Core is the brain of the system, performing all audio routing, processing, and control functions.
- Q-Sys Designer software provides the interface for system design, configuration, and control.
- Q-LAN is the IP-friendly network that connects the system into an integrated whole.
- Q-Sys peripherals such as I/O Frames, I/O cards, page stations and touch screen controllers provide fully customizable, application-specific functionality.
Control Peripherals
- The TSC-3 combines capacitive touch technology with a 320 x240 full color LCD for state-of-the-art control of a Q-Sys system. Touchscreencontrol is the ideal user-interface for sophisticated systems in which controlneeds can range from a few simple parameters to recall of global snapshots. TheTSC-3 can be used to control much more than just audio; a wide variety ofequipment can be managed utilizing the Q-Sys Core's GPIO and TCP/IP instructionmechanisms providing true one-touch control of complete systems.
- When multiple TSC-3 controllers control a single system,changes made from one unit will be reflected on the displays of others.Creation of the custom user screens is accomplished within the Q-Sysenvironment using the User Control Interface (UCI) Designer which allowsselection of any Q-Sys element to be "pulled" into the interface andadjusted for size and color. For applications in which room diagrams, corporatelogos or other graphical elements are desired, the TSC-3 can support full-colorbitmapped images. The TSC-3 is offered in black (TSC-3-BK) or white (TSC-3-WH)and designed for easy flush-mount installation in a wall, lectern or similarflat surface.
- The TSC-3 mounts directly into a standard US 2-gang wall boxand is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) making installation simple andeasy. For those who want to surface mount it or for our international customerswho do not have ready access to US gang boxes, the TSC-3 comes with surfacemount box as part of the kit - no additional parts required.
