I/O Peripherals

  • Q-Sys I/O peripherals help connect the power of the Q-Sys Core processor to the outside world of audio. I/O cards provide connectivity to analog and digital sources and destinations, while the I/O-Frame and I/O-22 allow local or remote inputs or outputs anywhere that a standard Gigabit Ethernet network is available with connectivity back to the Core.
  • It should be mentioned that Q-Sys paging stations are also considered a peripheral, but have their own section.

 I/O Cards

  • Q-Sys I/O cards allow integrators to bring audio into and out of a Q-Sys Core processor when installed directly in a Core or I/O-Frame remote I/O device. A variety of I/O cards are available to accomodate many different project requirements. The cards supporting analog audio are 4-channel devices, while the digital cards support higher channel counts.

Q-SYS CIML4 Mic/Line Analog Inputs

- This is a four-channel card with industry-standard Mic/Line Analog Inputs. Its dynamic range matches the specs of almost every DSP box, so it's perfect for most medium to high-level analog inputs. 48-volt phantom power is available on each channel, selectable by the Q-Sys Designer software.

CIML4  Features:

  • Mic/Line Input
  • Four channels of microphone / line-level analog audio input with 48V phantom power
  • Greater than 112 dB dynamic range
  • Less than 0.004% THD+N
  • Phantom power (configured via software)

One important thing to note: Due to the chassis architecture of the Core and I/O Frame, you must fill all available card slots in the Core and I/O Frame. If you do not have the need to fill all of the slots with functioning cards, QSC offers BLANK non-functional cards to be used as placeholders
