The SEG-2550N2550AP is a compact cost effective video switcher with all
the advantages of the latest technology from Sony. The SEG-2550A/2550AP
has been developed to meet the demanding requirements of both production
switching and complex postproduction in the studio or edit suite.

The SEG-2550A/2550AP is designed specifically to integrate the E-FileTM*
effects memory control and communication interfaces with a computer and
an editor. The E-File facility can memorize all of the special effects data
generated by manual controls to be reproduced during production providing
sophisticated programming possibilities. The SEG-2550A/2550AP
complements the versatile video system package using U-matics cameras
and the BVE-900 edit controller for sophisticated program production.
