The compact dynamic mid range mics are ideal for use on toms and snare drums, with 80 - 12,000 Hz frequency response, supercardiod polar pattern and sturdy enough clips to prevent mic droop with repeated uses. The kick mic delivers extended low frequency response, with a punchy edge in the mid range. The D1017 set is also useful for any situation where high sound pressure levels need to be recorded, such as live brass instruments or other percussion.
