Overview

The new Alto Professional TrueSonic TS408 is a 2000W 8-inch 2-way powered loudspeaker that offers clear sound, increased power, Bluetooth Streaming, linking and app control. The powerful loudspeaker features an 8-inch woofer, 2-inch (50mm) high-temperature voice coil, 1-inch exit ceramic driver with 1.4-inch (35mm) coil, fan-less Class D amplifiers and an integrated 3-channel mixer.

The integrated mixer includes dual XLR ¼-inch combo inputs, independent level controls and mic/line switches. The speakers also feature XLR Mix output, Speaker Use and Sub Size Controls. In addition, there are three ‘Speaker use’ Modes which set the speaker sound to suit the venue and a Custom EQ setting where sound can be fine-tuned from any listening point for maximum control.

Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth connectivity, streaming is effortless from a laptop, phone or tablet. Furthermore, it is easy to pair a device to the speaker using the panel on the rear. The TS408s also feature the True Wireless Stereo function, which allows the audio to be sent to two other TS4 speakers without needing connection cables. In addition, the TS408 speakers work seamlessly with the dedicated Alto App, where Bluetooth functions can be accessed, along with remote configuration and control options.

The speaker units are lightweight and look sleek with their black box design. In addition, their positioning is flexible in that they can be freestanding, used as a wedge monitor, and can be pole-mounted or suspended using the integrated suspension points.

The TS408 monitor speakers are suitable for DJs, venues for bands and are great for use as fixed installations or mobile gigs/performances.
