Overview:

The BLACKSTAR HT METAL 1 is the perfect metal guitar amp. Using the award-winning HT-1R as a starting point, the HT METAL 1 gets a complete sonic and cosmetic overhaul – delivering an ultra high gain amp that’s specifically designed to meet the demands of today’s metal guitarists.

• The patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit gives you infinite adjustment over the characteristics of the tone control network and takes you from classic British heavy metal to modern US scooped high gain and anywhere in between
• Add a fully specified speaker emulated output, MP3/Line input, plus a 4-16Ω speaker output and you have everything you need for recording or practicing.

1 Watt, 1 x ECC83, 1 x ECC82 (An innovative 1 Watt, 2 channel valve combo that uses 1 x ECC83 and 1 x ECC82 valves.)

• The HT METAL 1 is the perfect studio and practice metal amp. In making the HT METAL 1 ideally suited to home and studio use, the aim was to develop a valve amp which sounded full and toneful even at the lowest volume level.

ISF Control - Everything from scooped US to UK heavy metal

• The ISF control gives you access to infinite new sound possibilities on the HT METAL 1. This fully interactive control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between any of the traditional voicings. In this way you can design your own sound and truly find the sound in your head.

Two Channels - Clean or Metal

• The HT METAL 1 has two channels available for selection, a Clean channel and an Overdrive channel. Using the Gain control while on the Clean channel you are able to deliver everything from a clean sound through to a crunch tone. Alternatively you can select the Overdrive channel and again using the Gain control, change from a clean sound on the edge of breakup right through to a distorted metal lead tone.

Speaker Emulated Output - Metal amp tones straight to disk

• The HT METAL 1 has a fully-specified speaker emulated output which further enhances its studio credentials and allows any guitarist to get amazing metal tones straight to tape or disk, or through headphones.

Unique Push-Pull Power Amp Design - Produces crunch and breakup

• The HT METAL 1 power amplifier is a low powered push-pull design which produces the crunch and break-up characteristics of a traditional 100W output stage but at a much lower volume. This is achieved by the use of an ECC82 dual triode in push-pull configuration producing 1 Watt output, which is rich in valve harmonics and compression, sounding full and toneful even at the lowest volume level.

8" Speaker Small but punchy

• Featuring an 8" speaker, the HT METAL 1 really is a perfect combo amp for home or studio use. This amp sounds full and toneful even at the lowest volume level.

Stereo MP3 / Line Input Jam to your favourite track

• A stereo MP3/Line input has been added to the HT METAL 1 allowing you to play a backing track or similar through the amp while practising / recording.

External Speaker Output - Hook up a speaker cabinet

• A 4-16Ω speaker output that allows you to run the amp into an external speaker cabinet of your choice, making the HT METAL 1 a very practical choice.

Stereo Reverb-Add in some reverb

• The HT METAL 1’s Reverb control sets the overall level of the reverb effect. Carefully voiced to sound great on both the Clean and Overdrive channel, it’s perfect for adding a sense of space and ‘size’.
