Overview

iRig Mic Field is a pocket-size stereo microphone designed for audio and video field-recording applications. Thanks to its exclusive rotary enclosure, the iRig Mic Field doubles as the perfect stereo microphone for professional audio and video applications. Now it's possible to preserve accurate left / right stereo imaging for high-quality audio recordings during video shoots.

 The iRig Mic Field connects digitally through the Lightning port of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, giving you far superior results than the built-in mono mic on the device. It features two high-quality near coincident capsules and a 24-bit A / D converter to ensure the best audio quality. A built-in headphone jack allows for real-time monitoring.

iRig MIC Field works with several iK Companion apps including iRig Recorder 2 and other iOS compatible Core Audio audio and video apps (including GarageBand, Voice Memo, iMovie, etc).

The multicolor LED on the iRig Mic Field provides the iRig Mic Field's operating status.

Each status is indicated by a different color:

• LED is off: iRig Mic Field is not connected to any power source.

• LED is dark blue: iRig Mic Field is connected and in standby mode.

• LED is bright blue: iRig Mic Field is connected and active.

• LED is green: iRig Mic Field is active and the input signal is low.

• LED is orange: iRig Mic Field is active and the input signal is OK.

• LED is red: iRig Mic Field is active and the input signal is too high.
