Overview

Audio engineers, broadcast engineers, and postproduction engineers will be thrilled by the PreSonus R-Series R80 V2, a powered studio monitor that offers audiophile performance in a nearfield or midfield monitor form factor. A 6.8" air motion tweeter and an 8" woofer give you a smooth sound and a wide sweet spot for impeccable imaging.

With each monitor comfortably capable of playing at 107 dB, the monitors can give you a loud and impactful performance, making them quite suitable for mixing. Meanwhile, the front port allows bass to reproduce naturalistically down to 40 Hz. If you need the extra octave, you can always pair the unit with a a PreSonus Temblor T10 subwoofer, available separately. Room EQ settings are on hand, as are analog connections to suit almost any need thanks to XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA terminations. Unlike the previous model, this monitor utilizes Class-AB bi-amplification for even more hi-fi performance.
