The WHARFEDALE Vector 18B has a high pass filter output.The high pass filter allows you to connect a full range VECTOR loudspeaker and subwoofer to one amplifier channel with 4 ohm load.

Vector 18B Bi-amp Wiring:
The WHARFEDALE Vector 18B Bi amp switching ensures that the internal passive network selector is in the correct position.When using an external active is used for VECTOR 18B. The input selection consists of 4-pin Neutrik speakon connectors and the nominal system impedance is 8 Ohm.

Connecting the VECTOR Series to your system is easy.The input panel includes parallel Speakon NL2/1/4"jack combination connectors.Run your speaker wires from your amplifier to the speaker,you can use either input connector.Be sure to use high quality,low gauge (thick) speaker wire and NOT shield cable.Models with dual angle pole mount sockets (Vector 12 and Vector 15) have an angled socket that angles the cabinet down by 10 degrees .This allows more ound to be aimed directly at the audience and less at the ceiling early reflections.Please ensure that the correct socket is used for each speaker.
