Overview:

LAB GRUPPEN PLM 10000Q Powered Loudspeaker Management system - The two- input, four- output PLM 10000Q seamlessly integrates networked digital signal distribution, drive processing, power amplification, and load verification plus performance monitoring in a single hardware unit and unified software controller. This new approach, designated Powered Loudspeaker Management (PLM), is a cohesive blend of Lake® Processing and Lab.gruppen power. As a complete system, the PLM 10000Q affords significant benefits when compared to conventional approaches utilizing separate components.

Lake Processing Technology

The PLM 10000Q is available with either binding posts or an “embedded patch panel” with Neutrik Speakon connectors (2 x NLT4 and 1 x NLT8). Common connectors include; 2 x analog input XLR with switchable Iso-Float, 2 channels of AES/EBU with link-through capability for daisy chaining, 2 x EtherCon® for linking or redundancy. A 32 amp PowerCon® connector is used for mains supply

Front Panel Features:

The front panel is the “local control center” for the PLM 10000Q. An intuitive, menu driven interface allows quick access to key functions using the moisture resistant silicone touchpad. Information is clearly displayed on the daylight-readable, 2.5-inch LCD panel. The soft-button keypad and precision rotary encoder provide control of processing and amplification functions, with key lock available.

  • 1.) Standby power toggles the frame between Standby and On modes
  • 2.) Eight "soft "buttons allow sub-branches and parameters (shown in the display ) in the menu system to be selected when in Menu Mode
  • 3.) Module "ME" Buttons. In meter mode these two multifunction selection and indication buttons access processing modules A and B respectively.
  • 4.) In meter mode these four "soft " multifunction selection and indication buttons identify, monitor and control output channels. Order is dependent on module routing
  • 5.) ID LED indicates communication between the modules in the PLM and the Lake Controller Software
  • 6.) Rotary encoder is used to edit parameters in the menu system. The ring around the encoder lights up when the encoder has functionality
  • 7.) Exit Button provides escape functions in both Menu and meter view navigation
  • 8.) Display . High brightness monochrome 128x128 pixels
  • 9.) Menu accesses Frame control utilizing a menu-driven navigation interface. The buttons around the display and the exit button are used for control and selection options in the menu
  • 10.) Meter toggles through Home,Module and Temperature Meter views
  • 11.) Mute Enable allows module inputs and output channels to be muted. Flashes when mute enabled . Can be disengaged manually.

NOTES

1: Asymmetrical loading of the outputs will yield even higher ratings. If one (or two) channel(s) has reduced power requirements, then the voltage drop from the power supply will be reduced, resulting in higher power availability for the other channel(s).

2: Separate 230 V or 115 V versions available. Not selectable on the product.
