Overview:

The Production Intercom  BP2 is actually 2 BP1s in the same enclosure. The A and B circuits operate independently of one another and may be used simultaneouly. Only the headset amplifier is shared so that both circuits can be monitored on a single-muff headset. As you can see from the photograph, each circuit has its own volume control, signal button, signal lamp, mic on/off switch and sidetone control. Once again, like the BP1SL because 2 circuits are connected to the rear panel XLRs, a Y-cable or SB1 Splitter Box is necessary for each circuit if you wish to loop through to the next station in that circuit

Beltpack supports two circuits, mixed to a single earspeaker.

The BP2 portable headset station may be worn on the belt or hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip. Soft plastic strips on the underside help hold it in place when set on top of a console. The matte black finish minimizes visibility. The BP2 is a true 2-circuit unit, permitting the user to talk and/or listen to either or both circuits simultaneously. Separate controls are provided for each circuit. The BP2 mixes the incoming audio from both circuits to one earphone. 4-pin headset connector.
