Overview:

The Teradek Cube 255/405 1-Channel HDMI Encoder/Decoder Pair includes a Cube 255 HDMI encoder and a Cube 405 HDMI decoder. This pair is called a Cubelet and is capable of very low latency (approximately 3 to 4 frames). The Cubelet provides an easy-to-use, point-to-point streaming solution. Both these units are paired and automatically connect with one another over an ad-hoc or Wi-Fi network.

Bolt Meets Cube

Connecting a Cube encoder to Bolt's 3G-SDI loop or receiver output can result in powerful new workflows. This feature lets you to take advantage of Bolt's latency-free monitoring capabilities, while simultaneously sending Cube's compressed video feed to an iOS device, directly to the Web, or to a decoder located offsite. The best part is that Cube and Bolt do not interfere with one another so video dropouts will never be a problem.

Teradek CUBE-405 HDMI Decoder

The CUBE-405 HDMI Decoder from Teradek is a video decoder that outputs high-definition video via HDMI for use with video switchers and professional monitors. This device decodes IP video from encoders via Ethernet and includes a compact aluminum chassis and low power consumption. The Cube-405 comes with new hardware refinements to increase the ease of use and versatility.

With the new OLED, users can rapidly change and review the settings of their unit in addition to providing real-time feedback for wireless connectivity.

Teradek Cube 255 HDMI Encoder with WiFi

The Teradek Cube 255 HDMI Encoder with WiFi is a wireless camera-top video and embedded audio encoder. It connects to a camera by HDMI and streams proxy files/dailies in H.264 to a decoder or website. You can stream by dual-band WiFi wherever a network is available, by Ethernet via an optional router, or by an optional 3G/4G modem connection. You can also store the files to a MicroSD card as the Cube features a MicroSD slot with support for up to 32GB cards.
