The YAMAHA NS WSW160 Wireless Subwoofer has a large 6-1⁄2” (16 cm) driver and uses Yamaha's exclusive Advanced YST technology to produce clear, powerful bass. The circuit board has an ideal grounding pattern that ensures stable current supply. The Linear Port improves sound dispersion and is designed to minimize unnecessary noise. Both music and movie sound effects are reproduced with an astounding sense of presence.

Digital Sound Projector Technology Reproduces True Surround Sound
- The NS WSW160 achieves true (not virtual) surround sound by producing beams of sound and using advanced processing to control their directions. - This Yamaha exclusive feature ensures optimum multichannel sound reproduction with accurate image location. By monitoring and analyzing the sound with the microphone included with the it, IntelliBeam automatically sets the best beam angles, while optimising the level and frequency response of each beam. This makes initial setup both extremely simple and acoustically perfect.
Versatile Listening Modes
- The YSP-4300 ( YSP-CU4300 with Wireless Subwoofer) achieves true surround sound by directing sound beams off walls to reach the listener from various angles. The main mode is 5 BeamPlus2 for 7-channel sources. In addition, there are a wide variety of other listening modes. You can select Stereo + 3 BeamPlus2, 5 Beam, Stereo + 3 Beam, 3 Beam, Stereo, Target and My Surround.
HDMI® (4 in/1 out) with 4K Pass-through and 3D
- Four HDMI inputs mean you can connect four high quality digital sources, each with just a single cable. The inputs support 4K pass-through, which allows the transmission of next-generation super high-resolution images, and the transmission of 3D video.
Compressed Music Enhancer
- When music is encoded into a digitally compressed format like MP3, the frequency response suffers. This function restores what was lost, so your music always sounds the way it should.

UniVolume™ Maintains the Same Volume Level

Easy Positioning in Front of a TV
- Only 3-3/8” (86 mm) high, the ( YSP-CU4300 with Wireless Subwoofer) can easily be placed in front of your TV without blocking the screen. The height can be adjusted in two levels by adding included spacers. It is also wall mountable with optional brackets.

Subwoofer Rear Panel Features:
1. Group ID switches - When the center unit and subwoofer are connected wirelessly, sound is output from the subwoofer (yAired). For a wireless connection, use the same group ID as the center unit and YIT-W12TX
2.LINK indicator - Shows wireless connection status
3.Heat discharge unit - Discharges heat generated inside the subwoofer. Do not cover the heat discharge unit.
4.Power cable - For connecting to an AC wall outlet

Wireless Subwoofer Recommended Installation
- To prevent sound reflecting off of walls, angle the subwoofer slightly toward the center of the room.
- When installing the subwoofer on a rack, be sure the rack is strong enough to support the subwoofer and that it leaves sufficient space for heat discharge.
- The center unit and subwoofer communicate wirelessly.
- Subwoofer performance may be affected if the subwoofer is placed on a metal rack, or if there is a metal plate between the subwoofer and the center unit.

Connecting the Wireless Subwoofer
To connect the subwoofer (NS-WSW160) to the center unit wirelessly (yAired), the same group ID must be assigned to the center unit and subwoofer. The default group ID for both components is A1, enabling wireless connection by simply plugging the subwoofer's power cable into an electrical outlet. When using the transmitter (YIT-W12TX)1), the same group ID must be assigned to the center unit and subwoofer. The default group ID of YIT-W12TX is A1. The LINK indicator lights when the subwoofer is on and the subwoofer and center unit are connected wirelessly
Positioning the Subwoofer on its side
- The subwoofer can be laid on its side when positioned on a rack.
