- The high demand of the popular Delta 12 Passive and further demand for high performance active PA speakers has resulted in our introduction of the new Delta 12A active pa speaker. The new model brings together every aspect of the high-end passive speaker range, this time with perfectly matched bi-amplification with onboard DSP for a loudspeaker as solid as its passive counterpart with ultimate convenience.
- This 12” model is capable of high power, full range audio and coming in slightly smaller and lighter than the Delta 15A it is ideal for both front of house applications and monitoring and can be fully integrated with the Delta 15BA and 18BA, as you would expect.
Bi-Amplification with DSP
- The Delta 12A is capable of producing extraordinary levels – 750W RMS with 130dB maximum SPL is produced via a high headroom amplifier exclusively engineered by Wharfedale Pro. The loudspeaker also features an integrated 2 channel mixer with onboard Q-Bit DSP insuring smoother more controlled sonic performance.

- A High output, low distortion cast frame 12” woofer with 3” voice coil is used for unparallelled low frequency reproduction down to 60 Hz on this model. 2” titanium compression drivers are coupled to 90°x45° elliptical waveguides for impressive output level and smooth HF dispersion.

- Comprehensive rigging points are provided on Delta 12A, means it is equally at home in ground stacked or flown applications. Rhino Rock™, our durable texturised composite finish is used in all models. This new finish provides the great look of a painted finish with the durability of a carpet covered enclosure, giving you the best of both worlds. The Delta Series is constructed from plywood and features dual angle pole mounts to ensure that your sound is aimed directly at the audience, not at the ceiling.

1. Volume for input A and input B: These knobs control the level of each input channel.
2. RCA L/R (Left and Right) input jacks: These jacks allow input of a stereo signal (left and right). The signal is actively combined or "summed" providing a mono signal to the amplifier.
3. GAIN selection switch: This switch selects the proper gain structure for INPUT A. If a microphone isconnected to INPUT A, use mic mode (up). If the signal source is anything other than a microphone (playback device, keyboard or mixer output, for instance) use the line mode (down).
4. XLR 1/4" COMBO input jacks for INPUT A and INPUT B: These convenient jacks allow XLR or 1/4"balanced input connections to INPUT A and INPUT B.
5. HI and LOW EQ (equalization) controls: These knobs control the equalization of the overall output signalproviding +/-10dB of gain for each band.
6. Remote control: This Pheonix connector can be used to control the volume with an applied voltage.
7. 90Hz Monitor filter switch: Used to reduce bass buildup due to half space loading.
8. Front LED defeat switch: Switches off the front power LED for disrete applications.
9 &10. POWER ON /OFF switch, POWER 'ON' indicator LED and LIMIT indicator LED: The swtich: Turnsthe power on and off. The green LED to the left of the POWER switch illuminates when the power switch is in the 'ON' position. The red LED illuminates when the signal limiter is limiting the level of the signal to prevent distortion and overload.
11.Output source "LOOP/MIX" switch: In the "LOOP" mode, this switch routes the signal of INPUT A and B to the line level XLR OUTPUT jack, bypassing the EQ section and volume control. When in the MIX mode, this switch routes the combined (or "mixed") signals of both INPUT A and INPUT B to the line level XLR OUTPUT jack.
12.POWER cord receptacle: This is a receptacle for a standard IEC, three prong, grounded AC electricalconnection cord. Be sure that you are plugging into the correct source voltage that matches what is indicated just below the power cod receptacle.
13.XLR line level OUTPUT jack: This jack provides a balanced line level output for connection to additionalDelta Active, powered subwoofers or amplifier.
