Overview:

With two transparent sound mic inputs, two stereo line inputs and the 2tk in/out, L-PAD 6 is the ideal tool for one man bands, speech, background music diffusion and parties.

Thanks to the accurate Italian design L-PAD 6 is easy to grab, transport and handle. It is possible to install L-PAD 6 on a mic stand with the dedicated accessories.

DESIGN

  • The unique design of the L-PAD series mixers comes from the typically Italian flair and creativity of the RCF design offices. The line project of the L-PAD mixer combines a modern and ergonomically-superior design. The side profile presents an original aesthetic, ensuring at the same time that the mixer can be grabbed in an easy and secure way.

FADERS

  • Long Life Ultra reliable 60mm faders. All the faders passed a long life use test including several tens go thousands of complete cycles.

REALIBILITY

  • All mixers in the L-PAD series undergo four extensive instrumental quality tests during their construction. At the end of the production process they are tested once again, this time via a listening test, and are given an aesthetic quality control test to look for the presence of defects such as scratches or dents. All this is to guarantee a high level of reliability and to ensure the customer purchases a high quality standard product

TRANSPARENT SOUND

  • The L-PAD mixer series inherits the RCF concept of "Sound Culture". Extreme care in the design and realization of circuits provide L-PAD mixers with sonic transparency, combined with an accurate dynamic and extreme versatility of use.

Features

EQUALIZER

Three band precise Equalizer:

  • +/- 15dB intervention at 12kHz
  • 2.5 kHz and 80 Hz on mono channels

Dual band Equalizer

  • +/- 15 dB intervention at 12 kHz
  • 80 Hz for stereo channels.
Panel Features:

MIC Input (Ch.1 - Ch. 2) - Connect your microphones to these balanced XLR connectors pin1=Earth, pin2=Hot, pin3=Cold. These inputs are provided with +48V phantom power for condenser or electret microphones. Gain scale 0 dB/-50 dB
LINE Input (Ch. 1 - Ch.2) - Connect your line level devices to these TRS jack connectors: tip=Hot, ring=cold, sleeve=earth. These inputs are suitable for external pre-amplifier and DI boxes . Gain scale +15 dB/-35 dB
GAIN (Ch. 1  - Ch. 2) - This control the level gain (0 dB/-50 dB for microphone input and +15 dB/-35 dB for line input when in use)

PAN or BAL - This control defines the signal stereo imaging for mono channels or left-right balance for stereo channels

KNOBS Ch.1 - Ch. 2 - Mono Channels level control

KNOBS Ch. 3/4 - Ch. 5/6 - Stereo Channels level control

MAIN MIX OUTPUT - Unbalanced TRS jack. Plug in your active speakers or main sound reinforcement system amplifier (for passive speaker) of here

CONTROL ROOM OUTPUT - Plug your studio monitor or local speakers into these TRS jacks

AUX SEND OUTPUT - Plug a wedge stage monitor or external FX device into this TRS jack. The processed signal from the FX device is returned to the RCF mixing consoles mixer via the stereo return jacks

PHONES - TRS stereo jack, Tip=left , Ring=Right, Sleeve=Common Earth. Plug your headphone in here to listen to MAIN MIX

+48V PHANTOM POWER ON-OFF - This switches the microphone input phantom power on and off . It must be employed when condenser or electret microphones are used

OUTPUT LEVEL - These LEDs show the MAIN MIX OUTPUT level. Keep under CLIP level to prevent generating distorted sounds or dangerous sound levels

STEREO RETURN CONTROL -This defines the STEREO RETURN input signal level routed to MAIN MIX output

2TK IN CONTROL - This defines the signal level from the 2TK IN

TO MAIN MIX/TO CONTROL ROOM SWITCH - Defines where to route the signal coming from 2TK IN: to MAIN MIX when in upper position, to CONTROL ROOM when pressed (lower position)

PHONES /CONTROL ROOM CONTROL - This defines the signal level routed to CONTROL ROOM output and PHONES output

MAIN MIX KNOB - Main Mix level control
