DI BOX ACTIVE

Overview:

Active DI box in a sturdy metal housing (aluminium/steel) with protective corners, silver-blue metallic, internal battery (9 V flashes during operation) is switched off automatically when phantom power is used (LED permanently illuminated).Extremely low battery consumption. Battery: 9 V block (not included).

The LD Systems LDI02 active DI-Box takes high impedance, unbalanced signals, such as guitar and bass signals and converts them to low impedance, balanced signals. As a consequence a balanced microphone input of a mixing board or an audio interface can be used without unwanted background noise.

 It provides a PAD switch, which reduces the gain by 20 dB if needed and a Ground Lift which can help to prevent ground loops or humming noise. The LDI02 can be operated either with a 9 V battery or phantom power.

CONTROLS, INDICATORS AND CONNECTORS:

1.Unbalanced XLR input.

2 .Unbalanced 6.3 mm jack input.

3 .Unbalanced link output 6.3 mm jack.

4. Activating the PAD switch results in a gain reduction of 20 dB.

5. Balanced XLR output.

6. Switching to LIFT breaks the ground connection between in- and output. This can help to prevent ground loops or humming noise.

8. LED blinks during operation with 9 V battery. LED is constantly on when operating with phantom power.
